Allyse, the Conductor, took the tickets at the front door.
Joseph and the other children built small train sets.
Ethan and Corbin worked on their trains, too.
After enjoying hot chocolate, Julene read the The Polar Express to the children.
The highlight of the party was a visit from Santa Claus.
Angelina decided that Santa was okay.
Allyse was so happy that she could hardly contain herself.
Josh is almost big enough to have Santa sit on his lap.
Benjamin didn't know what was happening, but at least he didn't get upsetwhen the man in the big red suit and the funny beard held him.
Julene seemed to have at least as much fun as anyone at the party.
No birthday of Joseph's would be complete without Lego.

You guys throw the best birthday parties. Maybe I will be inspired for Eden... maybe. Okay, really she is just going to take her parents and sister to Chucky Cheese.

Joshua, Allyse and Joseph knew that Grandpa was Santa. Angelina didn't know it, but Julene slipped and called him Grandpa a couple of times. Angelina didn't catch it, and some of the other kids just had puzzled looks on their faces.
My cousins found out that Santa was really my grandpa.
